Install ARIA on Mac

ARIA on Mac is Coming Soon. ARIA is currently a Windows-only desktop application. macOS support is on the roadmap but has no committed ship date. We would rather not promise a date we cannot hit.

What Mac users can do today

• Read the documentation to see what ARIA does and whether it fits your family.
• Join the ARIA Slack workspace for updates on Mac availability and to ask questions in the meantime.
• Watch the release notes on this site — the macOS build will be announced there first.

What to expect when Mac is available

The Mac installation experience will mirror Windows: download a .dmg, drag ARIA to Applications, run first-launch profile setup, paste your Anthropic API key, optional Google sign-in and PIN. Same local-first data model, same permission model, same honesty rails.

Note: ARIA is an Electron application, so a macOS build is architecturally straightforward. The gating factor is code signing, Apple notarization, and testing across Apple Silicon plus Intel before shipping.
